Jun Suto

Jun, a winner of 2016 XPRIZE Visioneers and 2018 Singularity University’s Global Impact Challenge, is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and business advisor based in Los Angeles and Tokyo.  

He advises and collaborates with global organizations on innovation, creativity, and transformation while mentoring and coaching early-stage startups, entrepreneurs, and next-generation leaders.  His advisory clients include Global Fortune 25 companies (Berkshire Hathaway, Hitachi, and likes) and ambitious startups.  

He is one of the inaugural members of the Medical Intelligence and Innovation Institute (MI3), and an advisory board member of AIMed (AI in Medicine) - Asia.

Jun’s recent work includes the production of the $10 Million ANA Avatar XPRIZE prize competition to create a breakthrough in mobility technology, and audaciously launching a $15-trillion growth potential robotic avatar (aka tele-existence) industry, which was recognized as one of the Top 10 Emerging Technologies by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2019.

Jun started his career at KPMG Los Angeles office providing assurance, risk management, consulting, and advisory services to global clients in the US and Japan.  He holds CPA (CA), Project Management Professional®, and Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT® licenses.
