Benny Xian

Benny Xian is passionate about building innovative technology ventures from microprocessors, operating systems, predictive analytics, and AI, to enterprise cloud solutions. Benny has worked with some of the best engineers and scientists in building world-changing companies including Transmeta (IPO), Midori Linux (an operating system developed by Linus Torvalds), BeyondCore (acquired by Salesforce), and Voyadi.

At Transmeta, spun off Midori Linux into a separate company in China. Helped raise $15 million to create a chip company in China. Co-Founded and invested in BeyondCore which got acquired by Salesforce. 

From his decades of lessons learned in innovation, leadership, and culture, he founded Project AI+Compassion with a simple mission to bring compassion to tech using science and engineering.

We have 3 overall goals: to inspire us to think compassionately towards each other and the world around us, to help build high-performing organizations based on trust and compassion, and to help build trust in AI systems. Compassion should be an important part of AI, business, and entrepreneurship. 

Compassion is a competitive advantage. Compassion creates infinite possibilities. Compassion builds lasting companies. 

Benny enjoys working with organizations to create innovative products, helping other entrepreneurs in tackling challenging situations, advising startups in building greatness, and mentoring students interested in entrepreneurship. Benny has given talks on innovation, entrepreneurship, compassion, and faith. Benny is a committed Christian.
